Well, it's over. Seventeen long years of Twitter being one of the most recognizable brand names on the internet have come to an end. In its place, we get Elon Musk's monosyllabic vision that absolutely no one except his acolytes will use as the name of this website.

While the iconic name and logo of the world's most influential conversation app may now be different, the content that is gives us thankfully remains unchanged. Despite all the upheaval, Twitter/X users are still plugging away at creating those pithy jokes and statements that are here to make us chuckle.

With everything that is going on in the world, we need them now more than ever. These words may not be particularly wise or even memorable, but they give us something amusing to look at for the next couple of minutes. No weird renaming process can take that away from us (yet).
